My Bio

It all started back in 1987. I had a friend who played the guitar. I was immediately drawn in. A few months later, I got my first guitar as a local shop. At that point I mostly played and practiced by myself. After about 1 year I was becoming pretty efficient. Well in the fall of 1989 me and a few friends stared a High School Metal Band. Since we had everything but a bass player, I decided to put down the 6 string and play bass. So I went out and bought a cheep bass guitar. Now this was the ticket, almost overnight I felt very comfortable with it. After a few months playing I became very proficient, and ended up writing most of our songs. We stayed together for about 2 years before we started going in separate directions. Afterwards, I continued on my own. Using a multi-track and playing all the parts myself. Now this was great. No more misinterpretations between me and the other members. But at this point I wasn’t much of a drummer and my 6 string skills were a little rusty. So a rhythm machine had to do. A few years passed, I decided to take the next step, and learn the Drums. I went out and got a pretty decent drum set. Once again, I caught on very quickly. Within a few months, I was doing my own drum tracks. This was the winter of 1994. Most of the songs on my first full length CD were recorded during this time period. In 1996 my son was born, and I pretty well quit playing for about 4 years. However during this time I took what I had and released my first CD, Titled “The Beginning”. After a nasty divorce in 2001 I picked everything back up, and begin playing once more, by now I pretty well had developed a style of music, that’s herd no where else. The “Melodic Mood Music” style I created is very dynamic and you never know where I’m going with the song till it’s over. I started working with a Guitar Instructor in 2003, and followed up with my new LP “The Red Planet”. Over 1 hour in length and 15 tracks of pure Timeless Thoughts. This CD was released as Mars made it’s closest approach to Earth in 60,000 years!! It was Aug 26, 2003. After taking a short break from recording. I began working on my next project. I currently have over 20 songs completed 12 of which were pulled aside and made into “Autumn”, my latest release. The other tracks are going to become part of a release that is a companion to “Autumn”, and should be done by mid winter. They will all be available here!!

Thanks for reading…
