About my Music FAQ

Q. What style in you music?

A. I consider it as a Progressive Melodic Rock, Although a few songs could be considered Prog Metal. Other may be classified as Jazz or Blues. I enjoy listening to many styles of music, and they all shine through in different songs.

Q. How long have you been playing?

A. Bass for 18 years, Guitar 15 years, Drums 12 years, keyboards 10 years. Actively Recording for 17 years, professionally for 5 years.

Q. Who has been your strongest influence?

A. I would have to say Joe Satriani, but when it comes to the Bass Guitar I would to say Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)

Q. Why do you choose to do it all yourself, that sounds like allot of work?

A. I prefer being solo for 2 reasons: I get allot more personal satisfaction from my music, knowing that it was 100% done by me. And I've always found it hard to work with others, I feel that some of my creativity is lost. And yes it is a lot of work. Considering most of my songs have an average of 8 tracks in them. Some as many as 18.

Q. Are copies of your first CD still available?

A. No, only a few personal copies. All my work is available for download here

Q. I've herd "The Beginning" and think it's great. It has a very dark and moody feel. However I feel the some songs are quite repetitious and seem to go on and on with the same underlying rhythm

A. Well You have to start somewhere. Yes some of the songs develop a early rhythm and it is held throughout the whole song. However, that is only the rhythm track. The more you listen you will start to hear the backing tracks (some are almost subliminal). They happen to be very dynamic and give the song lost of depth. Also on other songs, there are very dominate lead guitar parts, that do progressive solos throughout the entire song. It all falls back on the old theory, the more you listen, the more you like. Try The Red Planet or Autumn they are much better!!

Q. Do you play with any other musicians?

A. Nope, I do all the writing and Performances myself.

Q. How's Berklee? I've heard it was one of the best Music schools in the world.

A. I don't know about the best in the world, but It's really ausome. Anyone serious about their musical career should inquire there.
